The Legacy of King David and the Messianic Lineage
The predecessor of the Spirit of the LORD – King David! For over six years, I was trained by King David in the secrets of symbolic and figurative language. This was through direct words from the LORD spoken by his servant. King David showed great patience with me. In the final year of his teaching, he bestowed upon me the throne of the Ethiopian Solomon Dynasty.
He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over Jacob’s descendants forever; his kingdom will never end.
Luke 1:32-33
A few facts about the throne of King David from Ethiopia: The last emperor in power was Haile Selassie. He was overthrown 290 days before my birth on September 12, 1974. This marked the end of the Solomonic dynasty after almost 3,000 years of existence. The foundation of this dynasty was laid by Menelik I in 980 BC with the Empire of Ethiopia (Abyssinia). 59 days after my birth on June 29, 1975, in London (GB), Haile Selassie died on August 27, 1975, in Addis Ababa (ET) as a deposed emperor:
By me kings reign, and rulers issue decrees that are just; by me princes govern, and nobles—all who rule on earth.
Proverbs 8:15-16
Roots and Offspring of David
In 2016, King David returned to his homeland Ethiopia after more than a decade as a “stateless” person in Switzerland. I cannot be the direct descendant of King David:
The LORD says to my Lord: “Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.”
Psalm 110:1
If the Messiah is the son of David, as confirmed by all the scribes, how could David refer in his lifetime to a Lord who must be distinguished from Yahweh? If this Lord (from Psalm 110:1) is the Messiah, how can “Father David” call
his son Lord before his birth? The scribes were undoubtedly aware of this scripture, but they could not explain it. Mark doesn’t even mention their silence – nothing came from them. And to this day, the rabbis cannot plausibly explain
Psalm 110:1. The only explanation is that the Lord Jesus is both man and God in one person. He is a descendant of David (Rev 22:16), but he is also the Creator of David. Christ is the root and offspring of David. And throughout his
life and ministry, it was revealed that the humble man Jesus Christ is none other than the Son of God, the true Immanuel.
“I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star.”
Revelation 22:16
